The French House
The French House Antiques and Interiors was established in 1995 by father and son team Stephen and Marcus Hazell when they acquired a 17th century property in the Pyrenees with a wealth of original furniture. They opened their famous Micklegate premises soon after.
The antique shop specialises in 18th and 19th century French antiques, gilt mirrors, chandeliers, cabinets and beds and its beautiful showroom has become a real attraction for collectors from all over the world.
The York branch of The French House also offers a wonderful range of fabric and soft furnishings.
