Ate O’Clock can be found nestled down one of the many alleyways or ginnels in the centre of York.
Offering an a la carte menu heavily influenced by fresh local produce, you can enjoy fresh Whitby crab, local pork served with Braeburn apple mash, and a delicious fillet of Yorkshire beef as well as some more unusual Mediterrean dishes.
The restaurant provides a relaxing, welcoming atmosphere with friendly, efficient staff and a wealth of welcome quirks. There is an outside area which is perfect for summer lunching, or enjoying a pre-dinner drink. The garden is also usable in Winter thanks to the patio heat lamps.
