Monty’s Grill is a unique and wonderful concept among the high class restaurants in York: a Victorian Chop House with a total dedication to ethical farming, the purchase of local, seasonal ingredients and the conservation of rare breeds.

Indulge in Colchester Oysters on crushed ice with a Champagne dressing or English Long Horn Steak and Ale Pudding. Sunday lunch at Monty’s is rather special too with a choice of roasted Galloway Beef, Saddleback Pork and Fresh Fish of the Day landed at Whitby.
Puddings are not neglected either with a decadent blackboard dedicated to sumptuously vintage English afters.
