The York branch of Akbar’s has been open for just over a year and already enjoys a great reputation and dedicated fan base. Akbar’s of York specialises in sizzling pan-cooked baltis from Baltistan, an extremely mountainous region North of Pakistan. All of their dishes are prepared from scratch on the premises by a skilled team of traditionally trained chefs to guarantee taste and authenticity.
There is an extensive menu offering a wide variety of set dining options, vegetarian dishes and house specials. Watch out for the family naan! It’s truly enormous.
