As you would expect from any Borders store, there is a wide variety of books, magazines, film and music available at the central York branch.
Featuring two floors of books and one floor of music and film, the store is both well staffed and well stocked.
What sets The Borders in York apart from other branches is the lovely café which incorporates a carefully restored chapel, and offers galleried seating.
The store’s extended opening hours come in very handy, particularly around Christmas.
