Coffee Culture
Variety is the Spice of Life
Perfectly situated for a moment’s repose after a stroll around York’s famous Minister, Coffee Culture is based on Goodramgate, in the heart of the city centre. One of the best places for a vitamin-packed smoothie or a fair trade coffee, Coffee Culture also offers delicious lunchtime snacks and a variety of filled baguettes if you’re feeling a little peckish. With a range of vegetarian options and a focus on offering a large choice of teas and coffees alongside its delicious cakes and pastries, this little cafe is a real gem.
Cosy and Comfy
Tall and narrow, with colourful decor and comfortable sofas, the building gives out an intimate and cosy vibe. Due to its size and popularity, Coffee Culture’s limited seating fills up fast, but there is also a take away service available if you’d prefer to sit in the Minster gardens on a sunny day. Its steep, rickety staircase is part of what gives the building its character, though we’d suggest that it’s not the most push-chair friendly venue. In all other respects, however, children are welcome and the staff accommodating.
