The Little Apple Bookshop
Located on High Petergate in the shadows of York’s mighty Minster, the Little Apple Bookshop is a genuine gem in a world of commercial giants. Whether you’re looking for a recently released title in paperback, a volume of poetry or a thoughtful gift for any member of the family, the staff will happily serve you and make you feel very welcome.
The shop offers an outstanding book ordering service - often with next day delivery – which sadly puts the major retailers to shame.
Owner Philippa Morris also runs a book club at the shop every Wednesday at 7pm for anyone who’s interested in discussing her monthly picks. Although the ethos is laid back and friendly, they do insist that those who come along have actually read the chosen books!
