Little Betty's Cafe
Little Betty’s is a wonderfully cosy branch of the famous Betty’s Tea Rooms. Nestled in a listed building on York’s Stonegate, it boasts roaring log fires, original beams and the fine selection of teas and cakes that visitors have come to expect from the exclusive chain.
If you can’t manage to get a table at the larger branch of Betty’s on St. Helen’s Square it is always worth trying Little Betty’s - although Little Betty’s is also very popular, particularly at weekends.
No visit to Betty’s would be complete without trying a warm Yorkshire Fat Rascal. These plump, fruity scones made with citrus peels, almonds and cherries are one of their famous specialities and come served with butter.
Delicious!
